Younger Lin and Tenzin + Pema, during the dark times.

I find myself captivated by the fact that Pema is sixteen years younger than Tenzin -- I was under the impression that Tenzin and Lin were sort of a youthful indiscretion, teenage romance... but they must have been at least thirty-five when a young Pema entered the picture... that's not puppy love. That's Lin detonating tables because the man she'd come to rely on is dating a child.

But for a while, she didn't notice he was slipping away.

I love how the whole triangle and all its emotions are captured in this one shot. You don't even need facial expressions, the body language says it all. Great job!

I can't believe I haven't yet reviewed this. It has been my desktop background for months and I literally stop and stare at it for minutes on end. Not only is the art itself beautiful, but you captured the atmosphere of this love triangle. I mean, Lin just looks so serious and unaware and it's the most heartbreaking thing. I can't say enough good things- this actually gets an emotional reaction from me. I just think it is so brilliant and the thought behind it is spot-on. Thank you for making something so wonderfully tragic! I love it.
